It doesn't matter if you're a contestant or a listener, if you think that the icon audio team has done a great job with the program, show them some love!

Post 2 by nikos (English words from a Greek thinking brain) on Monday, 06-Nov-2006 21:54:35

They did a great job and i am sure the next shows will be even better.

hmmm, I'm seriously wondering if this isn't a kiss-ass performance for the judges

Post 4 by fuzzy101 (The master of fuzz!!) on Tuesday, 07-Nov-2006 0:22:08

I think they did a good job.
I think they made one or two iffy choices but they did fine.

Post 5 by Mark (The master of disaster!) on Tuesday, 07-Nov-2006 1:41:24

kiss ass for the judges?

Hmmm, How many times do we have to say the judges how have no say in the voteing? it's all up to the zoners! sheesh this dude just don't lurn.

Post 6 by DancingAfterDark (I just keep on posting!) on Tuesday, 07-Nov-2006 3:03:06

Oy Garret, for the good of...everyone, just stop posting in the Icon topics. Honestly!

And, regarding the actual topic, love to the audio peoples! :)

Post 7 by PorkInCider (Wind assisted.) on Tuesday, 07-Nov-2006 3:55:16

Well, i know that at least a couple of people have had a lot of hard work to do with the audio. I'm talking of hours of work each day to make the show presentable. so Dan and Kai especially thanks. yes others have done lots of work, but this was for audio? well unless I've missed someone who's worked hard on the audio it's for you 2. thanks and appologies if i did miss someone else.

Post 8 by Chris N (I just keep on posting!) on Tuesday, 07-Nov-2006 9:48:55

I have to echo the centiments here and really hand it to Dan and Kai. They make it all look so easy when it's really anything but that.

Post 9 by jessmonsilva (Taking over the boards, one topic at a time.) on Tuesday, 07-Nov-2006 12:17:37

Excellent Job! Dan and Kai, yall rock! The audio stuff is excellent!

Post 10 by shea (number one pulse checking chicky) on Tuesday, 07-Nov-2006 13:37:44

you guys have put a lot of hard work and time into this show. Great job!

Post 11 by Wraith (Prince of Chaos) on Tuesday, 07-Nov-2006 14:21:18

Awwwwww. There's nothing like seeing a bit of praise after hours and hours of click, click, click, delete, copy, paste, mix, apply, clean...

It's the small things that make me feel all fluffy inside, so thank you guys for your words! We do it all for the zoners like you!

I'd also like to take this time to thank Shea and Dan for their tolerance through all the stuff involved with Icon. Without Dan, I'd never get the shows compiled and prepared in time. It's his professional work ethics, editing skills, and calm mannerism that keeps me sane through the hours and hours of repetative editing.

Lastly, I wanna thank you zoners for tuning in for the shows! Seeing how many listeners actually hear the shows just makes us (at least me) feel like it's all worth it, not that it isn't!

Kai

Post 12 by Mark (The master of disaster!) on Tuesday, 07-Nov-2006 16:32:13

kai and dan,

You both know how I feel about what you have done for icon. You both keep up the good work.

I for one am with you both through the prosses, and I know what we start with, and what ends up. You two keep it up!

Post 13 by Liz (The Original) on Tuesday, 07-Nov-2006 16:43:08

Yes, we do owe you audio dudes some thanks, for sure. Good job all! Props also to my fellow amazingly awesome judges!

Post 14 by maddog (I'll have the last word, thank you!) on Tuesday, 07-Nov-2006 18:24:44

Kai, Dan, lol the time I spend with you ugys, is only a fraction of the time you all are actually working on the shows, but trust me people, these guys, are a truly awesome deticated team. You should see how much time and effort they put into the show. It's nothing short of incredible. They deserve lots more than thanks, and words just don't begin to express. You guys are awesome!

Post 24 by nikos (English words from a Greek thinking brain) on Tuesday, 14-Nov-2006 22:23:17

Good job as usual but i was wondering who was speaking for the first jingle saying 6 contestance etc?
Was it a real kid or was it somebody with a prossessed voice?
If it was a kid it was very sweet.

Post 29 by PorkInCider (Wind assisted.) on Thursday, 16-Nov-2006 20:20:39

Wow, I want to say a big thank you to the audio team again, this weeks results show is awesome. The way it's been mixed and put together the judges thoughts over the performances is better than last weeks show. Again, I guess it was a lot of work for both Kai and Dan, but thank you both. Awesome.

Post 30 by ctsoprano (Generic Zoner) on Wednesday, 29-Nov-2006 13:48:28

Aww, thank you, Galileo. That really does mean a lot. I've been hearing more complaints than anything and that does wonders to the ego. Lol! I know I need to improve!

Post 35 by Jasmin (Account disabled) on Thursday, 30-Nov-2006 12:27:48

Well I just wanted to say how much I appreciate how much work the audio team has put into the show so far, and if they keep doing Zone Icon shows, how much we'd like the new things they put out and maybe a new theme if they wanted. And Christina, yes you'd be a good cheerleader, because when I saw that post, I was like, wow lots of energy. lol. So good luck to the audio team and great job for what you're doing.

Post 36 by ctsoprano (Generic Zoner) on Thursday, 30-Nov-2006 14:29:56

Aww, thank you, Jasmin. I jsut feel like a lot of us are getting distracted from the fun of Zone Icon. I'd like to see it run back to an enjoyable thing. Hopefully, I'll be more relaxed this Saturday because I was so friggin' nervous last time. That might have been obvious.

Post 37 by ctsoprano (Generic Zoner) on Wednesday, 06-Dec-2006 16:20:22

Great show, guys! Wonderful! Superb! Bravo! Bravo! Y'all are seriously blessed.

Post 46 by nikos (English words from a Greek thinking brain) on Tuesday, 12-Dec-2006 22:01:17

I agree the show was very goodd tonight but listening on dial up tonight wasn't the best experience lol. But the show was very nice especially the begining. Very creative. Well done Dan and Kay and anyone else involved with the audio production of the show.

Post 47 by ctsoprano (Generic Zoner) on Tuesday, 12-Dec-2006 22:34:04

Now, at Dan's request, I am throwing pink, frilly bras! Woohooo!!!!!

Post 48 by Harp (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Tuesday, 12-Dec-2006 22:36:35

I strongly refute that I ever requested that! LOL. I merely complained that you were throwing thongs at us! Especially purple ones. Weirdo!

Post 49 by ctsoprano (Generic Zoner) on Tuesday, 12-Dec-2006 22:53:25

You're just jealous that you can't throw or own any without being asked funny questions.

Post 50 by jessmonsilva (Taking over the boards, one topic at a time.) on Tuesday, 12-Dec-2006 22:54:35

Post 51 by ctsoprano (Generic Zoner) on Wednesday, 13-Dec-2006 15:16:34

*Tiptoes in quietly* Hmm ... I haven't doe this in a while ... *Throws scandelous undies and bras at Kai and Dan* Heh ... My work for today is done ...

Post 52 by Lieutenant Commander La Forge (01) on Wednesday, 13-Dec-2006 23:43:16

hey. Audio geeks you guys did a great job on yesterday's show. I only had one issue with it. I thought the intro was to fucking long. I mean it came across as if we had to listen to an entire sound library. I mean that intro went on and on, and in the end, I wanted it to be over. It started out as funny, but then it got retarded. But that's just my thought.

Post 53 by ctsoprano (Generic Zoner) on Thursday, 14-Dec-2006 15:10:32

*Strolls in whistling the Pink Panther theme song* Ah, my audio boys, how are you today? If you haven't received much excitement, Cristina Jones is here to give it to you! *Throws pink frilly bras at both of them* Y'all are like rock stars. Just, different ... Maybe I should start throwing something else at you since y'all can't see. It's getting old, too, so yeah ... Hmm ... What can I throw? Squeak toy anyone?

Post 54 by Nick6489 (11 years a Zoner) on Monday, 18-Dec-2006 16:10:55

Christina Jones, You, have, issues. LOL don't we all?
